What you can expect

Day 1: Jungle Trekking and Camping

Begin your adventure with a 6-7 hour trek through the national park. Keep your eyes peeled for orangutans and other wildlife as you make your way through the jungle.

Arrive at the campsite by the Bohorok River in the late afternoon. Take a refreshing swim in the river, then relax with a coffee or tea and some biscuits.

Enjoy a big dinner featuring Indonesian dishes with a Western twist. After dinner, play fun jungle games before settling into your tent for the night.

Day 2: Waterfall Visit and Rafting

Wake up for breakfast, then head to a nearby waterfall if the water levels are high enough. If not, enjoy a swim in the river or take another 2-3 hour walk through the jungle.

Return to the campsite for lunch, then pack up and get ready for the journey back to Bukit Lawang. Travel back by traditional rafting, arriving in Bukit Lawang around 1:00 PM.
