Explore the coast of the Yucatan, to observe the beautiful pink flamingo in their natural habitat. As we explore the wetlands we will find many other species of birds. Wetlands are considered an important transition ecosystem between the jungle and the ocean, home and shelter of migratory birds. We will also visit an ancient Mayan site that was considered to be an important location for the control of the salt. We will also visit a salt mine and learn the process to mine and the importance for the Mayan. Finally we will stop in a small fisherman village to eat some snacks and as a option (not included), enjoy a fresh ceviche.
We guarantee a great time with high possibilities to observe many different bird species and have accurate and solid information about the ecosystems and wildlife. Binoculars will be provided. We will also bring a camera to take pictures of the birds, which will be part of this experience and will be delivered on your email.
