What you can expect

Meet your guide at the Henrietta Bus Station and start with a short briefing about the hike. Then begin your 3-hour hiking experience by walking through sugarcane fields to reach the entrance to the canyon, admiring the stunning landscape around you.

Make your way down to the canyon, and after 30 minutes of walking you’ll reach the first of many waterfalls. Take the chance to swim in the natural pools carved out of the rock. Learn about the plants, the animals, and the history of Mauritius from your guide. Finish your tour at Tamarind Falls, the most impressive waterfall, before returning to your original start point.
