Start your adventure at Trou aux Cerfs, a dormant volcanic crater offering 360-degree views over the island’s central plateau. Continue to Mare aux Vacoas, the largest freshwater reservoir in Mauritius, surrounded by peaceful green landscapes.
Next, visit the sacred Grand Bassin (Ganga Talao), a revered Hindu pilgrimage site nestled in the mountains. From there, admire the scenic beauty of Alexandra Falls, located in the heart of Black River Gorges National Park, followed by a stop at the Black River Gorges Viewpoint, where you may also observe monkeys and paille en queue birds in their natural habitat.
