What you can expect

  • Experience Mallorca with Nofrills Excursions on a carefully planned journey through the Tramuntana Mountains. With over 20 years of local experience, we coordinate coach, boat, tram and historic train into one seamless day — so you can focus on the views while we take care of the logistics.

    Depart Palma at 9:30 by air-conditioned coach. During the journey, your local guide will explain the day ahead as you travel directly into the Tramuntana Mountains.

    Your first stop is Lluc, where you'll have around 40 minutes to explore its famous monastery and surroundings. We've deliberately chosen this meaningful mountain stop instead of adding unnecessary commercial visits — your time in Mallorca is better spent experiencing Mallorca.

    Continue along the spectacular mountain road to Sa Calobra, with your experienced driver navigating one of the island's most dramatic routes. Enjoy free time to discover the beach and walk through the rock tunnels to the mouth of the Torrent de Pareis gorge.

    Next, experience the Tramuntana from a completely different perspective. Board the boat to Port de Sóller and enjoy the Mediterranean breeze and spectacular mountain coastline from the sea.

    At Port de Sóller, another carefully coordinated connection awaits. Board the historic tram and travel from the harbour through the Sóller Valley, passing orange and lemon groves on your way to Sóller Old Town.

    Enjoy around 40 minutes of free time in Sóller. Explore its lively main square and Modernist architecture or visit the Picasso and Miró exhibition at the train station.

    Finally, board the famous 1912 Sóller wooden train for one of the most memorable journeys of the day. Travel through the Sóller Valley, mountain tunnels and Mallorcan countryside towards Palma, where your coach will be waiting for the final transfer.
