Your first step into the fascinating underwater world begins in the afternoon at the dive centre. Thanks to our SSI Try Scuba programme, you can try scuba diving without any prior experience.
After a brief introduction, an experienced dive master will explain everything you need to know: how to operate the gear, the most important techniques for scuba diving, and how to move safely in the water. Then we take a speedboat to a hidden bay near Cap Formentor, where the adventure really begins.
In the shaded bow of the boat, you can enjoy the breathtaking rocky coastal scenery. Once you arrive at the dive site, you can first go snorkelling and familiarise yourself with the mask and fins.
Then your personal dive instructor will help you put on your gear and accompany you on your first breaths underwater. The dive first takes place at the surface and then gradually takes you deeper. Experience the feeling of weightlessness and explore the underwater world. Colourful schools of fish, curious groupers, and maybe a hidden octopus are waiting for you. The experience lasts about 10 minutes.
After this experience, you are welcome to go snorkelling in the bay while one member of the group after another tries the adventure of scuba diving with individual supervision.
Back at base, you can relax with a shower and end the day in our chill-out corner. An unforgettable experience – perfect for anyone who loves the sea and adventure!
