Our first stop will be the Roman Theatre, the main preserved vestige of the Roman city of “Malacca”, built in the 1st century. It remained hidden underground for several centuries.
Next, we will enter the Alcazaba of Malaga, an 11th century palatial fortification located on the slopes of the Gibralfaro mountain. It was considered one of the best defensive constructions of the time.
Later, we will stroll through some of the most popular streets of the historic centre, and we will contemplate some emblematic places such as the Bodega Bar “El Pimpi” and the Picasso Museum of Malaga.
We will end our visit at the Cathedral of the Incarnation, known in Malaga as “La Manquita”. Its construction, which was never completed, was closely linked to the pre-existence of the Great Mosque.
