What you can expect

Day 1: Arrival in the morning and reception at the bus terminal, after which we will transfer you to the hotel we have chosen for your happy stay in our city. At the hotel we will serve you breakfast and then we will begin our first day of the tour. This day we will enter the Huascarán National Park and see the highest mountain in Peru, the Huascarán, 6768 metres above sea level. We will also visit the ancient city buried by the Yungay-Campo Santo earthquake and avalanche of 1970, now a World Heritage Site. We begin our visit by heading north from Huaraz, arriving at the town of Carhuaz to enjoy traditional ice cream preparations and photograph the main square. We head to Yungay to visit the city buried in the 70s, Campo Santo. Then we ascend to the Chinancocha lagoon in Llanganuco and take a boat ride. Then we descend and head to Caraz to visit and buy the artisanal delicacies. On the way back to Huaraz we will visit the artisan village of Taricá. Day 2: To carry out this tourist circuit our departure will be at 8 in the morning and we will head towards the southern part of the city of Huaraz, we will pass through the city of Recuay and in Catac we will take the detour towards the Callejón de los Conchucos. The first stop will be at the Laguna de Querococha (4200 m), here we will get views of contrasting Andean landscapes (lagoon, ichu, mountains). Then the ascent towards the Cahuish tunnel, to pass towards the Valle de los Conchucos. We continue with a 2 and a half hour tour, we will visit the magnificent Archaeological Centre of Chavín, which is one of the most beautiful and ancient monuments of the Andes of Peru. Then we will have the tourist lunch at the chosen restaurant. We conclude our tour of Chavín with a visit to the National Museum of Chavín. Return to Huaraz, dinner and accommodation. Day 3: This day we will head south of the city of Huaraz, this visit begins in the Carpa sector, first place to visit the Patococha lagoon for the presence of wild ducks, then carbonated waters that are natural filtration of the soil. Continuing the visit we will arrive at the Pumapa Shimi lagoon of 7 endless colours and the Puyas Raymondi forest, the most representative plant of the Andes. Finally, we will visit the Pastoruri snow-capped mountain to take photos and explore its frozen lagoon and its ice walls. Return to Huaraz. Farewell to the group at the hotel. End of services.
