Pliszka – Gądków Wielki – kayaking trip duration: approx. 3 hours/6 km – bridge/campsite
We recommend that beginner kayakers begin their kayaking trip on the Pliszka River on sections that are less demanding, yet still very picturesque. We suggest that kayaking in Lubuskie be remembered as fun, so it's important to minimise portages on the sections we recommend, and to keep the kayaking trip on the Pliszka River shorter. For beginner kayakers, the kayaking trip should last approximately 3-4 hours. From Pliszka to Gądków Wielki – the kayaking trip takes approximately 3 hours/6 km – we consider this route to be very easy, with no portages, especially recommended for families with small children. Along the route, you'll pass Lake Ratno and a railway viaduct. This section ends at a bridge before reaching Lake Wielicko. We'll take you to the right side.
From Pliszka to the Łapinóg water weir and return to the wooden bridge in Gądków Wielki – the kayaking trip takes approximately 4 hours/8 km – this route is very easy, especially recommended for families with children. Please note that at the end of this section, there's a water weir with dangerous, sharp rocks, and kayaks must be portaged if you want to continue. This section ends at the bridge in Gądków Wielki, and you'll need to return from the large Lake Wielicko.
