Begin your adventure at the Caño Hondo hotel entrance, where you'll meet your guide and head to the marina. Board a boat and sail along the Caño Hondo River, navigating through red mangroves until you reach San Lorenzo Bay.

As you glide through the water, marvel at the rocky mogotes and spot pelicans and kingbirds flying overhead. Keep an eye out for the 700 different species of plants that cover the islets in this area.

After the boat trip, explore both Arena and Linea Caves, which house petroglyphs and paintings left by indigenous populations 750 years ago. These artworks depict animals, deities, and humans in black and grey shades.

Following this caving experience, return to the boat and continue exploring the national park. Look out for manatees, dolphins, and other marine mammals that inhabit this area. Conclude your day trip by returning to the starting point, approximately 2.5 hours after departure.
