Meet at Accelerated Flight Academy at Van Nuys Airport for a preflight briefing, aircraft walk-around, and cockpit orientation. Then board the Piper Warrior II for an introductory flight lesson with an FAA-certified flight instructor beside you.
Take the controls and practice basic flying fundamentals under instructor guidance. The experience includes approximately one hour of flight time, plus briefing and debriefing.
Possible views may include the Hollywood Sign, City centre Los Angeles, Marina del ray, Santa Monica Pier, and the Malibu coastline. The route and landmark views vary with weather, air traffic control, airspace, aircraft performance, and safety.
One participant receives hands-on flight instruction during each flight. An approved companion may join as an observer, subject to aircraft weight-and-balance limitations. No previous flight experience is required.
This is a real introductory flight lesson for first-time flyers, future students, or anyone curious about learning to fly.
