Experience the true essence of Svalbard on this unforgettable Arctic adventure.
Go to the meeting point and we'll begin with a guided 1-hour walk through the streets of Longyearbyen.
As you leave the town, your guide will tell stories and deep insight of the life up here in the northernmost town of the world.
Reach the Arctic Ocean and take a dip in the frigid waters, earning a true badge of Arctic bravery. After your polar plunge, warm up inside a cosy sauna just steps from the shoreline. From here there is an amazing view over the fjord and mountains. Feel the contrast between the icy ocean and the hot sauna, a revitalising and refreshing experience.
During winter (approx October to February): If you book this trip in evening, you'll walk under the dark skies of the polar night, where stars and, if you're lucky, northern lights illuminate your path. Water temperature is approx. -1-2 degrees.
During sunny winter (approx Marts to April): You will have the possibility to have the beautiful pink skies and the very crisp cold. Water temperature is approx. -1-2 degrees.
During summer (approx April to August): There will be light all day long.
Water temperature is approx. 2-3 degrees.
After your sauna session, enjoy a steaming hot or cold drink while your guide presents you with your very own Arctic Dip Diploma, proof of your courage and a great storey and memory to bring home.
