This snack tour through Lisbon's historic centre combines a classic city tour and filling, local snacks - the perfect mix for lunch in Lisbon!

Your city guide will take you through the three historic districts in German in about 2.5 hours. In a small group of up to 12 people, you'll explore the winding streets of the oldest district, Alfama, as well as the highlights of the city centre area and the Chiado district.

The city guide's stories focus on anecdotes, culture, and the most exciting events in Portuguese history.

The price of the culinary city tour includes 4 snacks for each participant (2x savoury, 1x sweet, 1x liquid). The snacks are chosen so that the amount of food replaces your lunch. So feel free to come hungry to the tour!

After meeting your guide at the meeting point in the lower part of Alfama, you'll explore the winding streets of the oldest district together and make a stop at the beginning of the tour to enjoy the famous “Bifana” lunch snack.

After climbing through narrow streets, you'll reach an unknown viewpoint overlooking the Tagus River and marvel at the oldest part of Lisbon from above.

Afterwards, you'll head to the impressive and spacious lower town of Lisbon (Baixa). Here you can try savoury pastries and the traditional sour cherry liqueur (Ginjinha).

During the tour of the lower city, you'll find highlights such as the Praça do Comércio, the large square on the Tagus River, and the Elevador de Santa Justa lift - accompanied by exciting stories from your city guide in German about history and culture.

Then your guide will take you to the ruins of the Carmo Monastery, which was the scene of two major events - the earthquake of 1755 and the end of the dictatorship in 1974.

To finish, you'll try a sweet pastry and can choose a delicious, fresh “Pastel de Nata” or a lesser-known pastry.

After the culinary city tour, you can set off on your own from the Chiado district to explore further. The area is the perfect base for cafés, shopping, and sightseeing.
