What you can expect

  • Begin your adventure by meeting your guide at Zhongyi Market. Dive into the vibrant energy of the largest wet market in the Old Town. Discover unique mountain herbs, fresh produce, and the daily rhythm of local life.

Next, escape the crowds and wander through labyrinthine stone alleys. Visit the Naxi Costume Museum to admire intricate traditional attire and explore century-old shops tucked away from the high streets.

Step into Hengyugong, a stunning 140-year-old traditional courtyard home. Learn about the Naxi “Sihe Wutianjing” architecture and the philosophy of harmony between humans and nature.

Enjoy a breathtaking view overlooking the endless grey-tiled roofs of the Old Town, with the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain often visible in the distance.

Finally, feast on a luxurious Yunnan Wild Mushroom Hotpot with 9-10 varieties of fresh wild fungi (such as Matsutake and Boletus). A true taste of Yunnan!
