Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu – Lhasa (3,650m) | Arrival & Acclimatisation
Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa, where our Tibetan guide will meet you at the airport. Transfer to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day resting and acclimatising to the high altitude.

Day 02: Lhasa Sightseeing | Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Bazaar
Begin your Lhasa sightseeing with a visit to the magnificent Potala Palace. Continue to the sacred Jokhang Temple and explore the historic Barkhor Bazaar, one of the most vibrant areas of old Lhasa.

Day 03: Lhasa Sightseeing | Drepung & Sera Monasteries
Visit Drepung Monastery, one of Tibet’s most important monasteries, followed by Sera Monastery, famous for its traditional Buddhist practices and monk debates.

Day 04: Lhasa – Yamdrok Lake – Gyantse
Drive from Lhasa towards Gyantse, enjoying spectacular views of the Tibetan Plateau. Cross the high passes of Kora La (5,010m) and Kamba La (4,794m) and visit the beautiful Yamdrok Lake. Continue to Gyantse and explore its historic old market.

Day 05: Gyantse – Shigatse
After breakfast, visit the impressive Kumbum Stupa and Pelkhor Monastery before continuing the drive to Shigatse, Tibet’s second-largest city.

Day 06: Shigatse – Rongbuk (4,980m) | Everest Base Camp
Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, the traditional seat of the Panchen Lama, before driving towards the Everest region. Cross Gyatso La, one of Tibet’s highest mountain passes at around 5,200m, and continue to Rongbuk. Visit Rongbuk Monastery and hike towards Everest Base Camp, weather and conditions permitting.

Day 07: Rongbuk – Kerung
After breakfast, drive through the spectacular high-altitude Tibetan Plateau. Enjoy views of the Himalayan ranges, including Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201m) and Mt. Shishapangma (8,012m), weather permitting. Pass by the beautiful Pekutso Lake before continuing towards Kerung.

Day 08: Kerung – Kathmandu
Drive from Kerung to the Nepal–China border and complete immigration formalities. Cross into Nepal and continue by Jeep towards Kathmandu, concluding your memorable Tibet and Everest journey.
