What you can expect

  • Morning – The Giant Buddha
Pick-up from your hotel, and then we head to a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest stone‑carved Buddha in the world (71 metres tall!). You'll explore the main scenic area at your own pace – walk down the Nine‑Turn Plank Road to stand at the Buddha's feet, climb up to see the intricate drainage system hidden in its hair curls, and soak in the stunning views where three rivers meet.

    Lunch – Your Choice
    Around noon, you can choose:
Vegetarian meal (Buddha‑style, light and authentic)
Qiaojiao Beef (Leshan's signature spicy beef hotpot – a local legend)

    Afternoon – Luocheng: “China's Noah's Ark”

Unlike commercialized tourist towns, Luocheng is the real deal – a living, breathing piece of old Sichuan.

The town's boat‑shaped high street was built in 1628 (Ming Dynasty) and is the only street of its kind in China. Seen from above, it looks like a giant ship floating on a mountain – which is why UNESCO once called it “China's Noah's Ark”.

Here, you'll walk on 400‑year‑old bluestone paths, sit under the covered “Cool Hall” corridors, and join locals sipping gaiwan tea at century‑old teahouses. On weekends or lucky days, you might catch Sichuan opera performances at the ancient stage. There are no crowds, no chain stores – just old people playing chess, vendors selling handmade snacks, and a pace of life that feels like a forgotten era.

    End of the Trip
Around 5:30 PM, we'll drive you back to your hotel, your mind full of stone giants and boat‑shaped streets.
