Many of our families have deep roots on this mountain, giving it a truly personal and meaningful connection for us.

    What makes us unique: we are among the first to introduce a plant and cultural discovery walk on Le Morne. Along the trail, your guide shares traditional medicinal plants and everyday uses, bringing the landscape to life.

    The hike begins with a steady walk through coastal forest, opening to breathtaking lagoon views. Higher up, the trail becomes more challenging with rocky sections and short scrambling parts. Your guide supports you throughout, ensuring a comfortable and safe pace.

    The highlight: as you reach higher ground, the lagoon suddenly opens beneath you, revealing the iconic panorama of Le Morne.

    Along the way, you’ll hear the storey of the maroons: escaped enslaved people who once found refuge here, and understand why this mountain remains a powerful symbol of freedom.

    At the viewpoint, enjoy time to rest, take photos, and soak in the scenery before descending.
