What you can expect

Enjoy an unforgettable day discovering the treasures of Provence.
We'll pick you up at your meeting point and head towards the Valensole plateau, famous for its vast lavender fields that stretch as far as the eye can see.
On the plateau, we'll stop at a local farm to learn about the history and culture of lavender. You'll discover the different varieties, their uses and properties, and you'll have the opportunity to buy local artisanal products made from lavender.

We'll continue to Valensole for a visit to the Pistachio House, where you can enjoy a pistachio ice cream, among other things.
Leaving Valensole, we'll stop on the way to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie to discover the work of a local potter and admire her handmade creations, offering a glimpse of Provençal know-how.

We'll then continue our journey to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, a typical village nestled against a rocky escarpment, often compared to a nativity scene with its star suspended in the void. The town is labelled a Village and city of character, a member of the associations Les Plus Beaux Villages de France and Ville et métiers d'art, and is part of the Verdon Regional Natural Park. During your free time for lunch, you can stroll through the picturesque alleys, discover the artisan shops, and admire the famous Moustiers earthenware. On Fridays, there's a market.
If you already know Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, we'll head to the village of Aiguines, at the foot of the “Grand Margès” mountain. The village overlooks the lake of Sainte-Croix, famous for its wood turners and its museum dedicated to wood, which brings together magnificent pieces and handicrafts. You can also visit the local workshops and shops to discover the craftsmanship of the artisans.
The Saint-Pierre Chapel, located on the heights of the village, offers an impressive panorama of Lake Sainte-Croix, the Valensole plateau, and even Mont Ventoux on a clear day.

After the break, we'll head to the Gorges du Verdon, one of the most spectacular natural sites in France. There will be photo stops to capture the impressive panoramas and breathtaking landscapes, between limestone cliffs and turquoise waters. The guide will give you information about the geology, history, and biodiversity of the area to enrich your experience.

Finally, we'll hit the road for the return trip, enjoying the last Provençal panoramas along the way. This excursion combines nature, culture, crafts, and exceptional landscapes, for a full and immersive day in the heart of Provence.
