The experience takes place in a historic salumeria founded in 1869, proudly recognised by Unioncamere as a Historic Italian Business, where tradition, quality, and craftsmanship have been preserved for generations.

Learn about the storey of this delicatessen, which dates back to the 19th century, when Tognet d’Uglot, a Garibaldi veteran returning from the Expedition of the Thousand, opened the business that has been passed down through generations ever since.

For over 150 years, the family has maintained the same passion for quality, carefully selecting the finest cured meats and cheeses and celebrating the authentic flavours of the Food Valley. Today, this tradition continues in the adjoining prosciutteria, where visitors can taste the speciality products of Langhirano, a unique and world-renowned region.
