Detailed Activity Timeline:

1. Meeting Place and Welcome:
Our meeting point will be at Praça da Sé, in front of the imposing Lamego Cathedral. You will be greeted by our local guide, who will welcome you and give a brief introduction to the history and legends that permeate the city. This will be the time to familiarise ourselves with the evening's itinerary and clarify any questions.

2. Marvel at the Illuminated Cathedral:
We'll begin our walk by admiring Lamego Cathedral from a new perspective, with its Gothic and Baroque architecture highlighted by the nighttime lighting.

3. Stroll Through Historic Streets and Tales of Yesteryear:
We'll stroll through the narrow, picturesque streets of the historic centre, where every corner reveals a piece of history. We'll stroll along Rua da Olaria and Praça do Comércio, stopping at key points to hear local stories and legends that come to life in the stillness of the night. We'll talk about famous figures who lived in these lands and the events that shaped Lamego.

4. The Ascent to the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios Under the Stars:
The highlight of our evening will be the climb to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remédios. Although the monumental staircase is impressive by day, at night, with the lighting, the experience is simply magical. We'll climb part of the stairway, stopping at some of its landings to take in the panoramic views of the illuminated city of Lamego.

5. Panoramic Views and a Moment of Contemplation:
When we reach the top, we'll have a moment to take in the breathtaking view over Lamego and the Douro Valley, now under a blanket of stars. The tranquility of the night allows for a deeper connection to the beauty of the place. You'll be able to take spectacular photographs and soak up the serene atmosphere.

6. Return and Conclusion:
We will begin our return journey, descending the steps of the sanctuary and heading back to Praça da Sé. The guide will give a summary of the experience and will be available to answer any further questions. This is the time to share your impressions and cherish the memories of this magical evening in Lamego.

7. Farewell:
Our evening tour will end at Praça da Sé, leaving you with the feeling of having experienced Lamego in a unique and special way.
