Collect your audioguide, city map, ferry timetable and tickets from Piazza Cavour. Begin with an approximately two-hour walk through Como, following the audio narration at your own pace.
Explore the city’s medieval streets and picturesque squares while discovering important landmarks such as the Cathedral of Como, the Romanesque Basilica di San Fedele and Torre Gattoni, connected to the scientific experiments of Alessandro Volta.
After exploring the city, head to the waterfront and use your included return ferry tickets between Como and Torno. Cruise across the first basin of Lake Como and discover picturesque lakeside destinations including Cernobbio, Moltrasio, Blevio and Torno.
Choose where you would like to stop, take a walk along the waterfront or relax at a local café. With no group or live guide to follow, you are free to organise the experience around your interests and the ferry timetable.
Return to Como by ferry and bring the audioguide back to the collection point when you have finished.
The audioguide is available in English, Spanish, French and German. Food, drinks and entrance fees to villas or other attractions are not included. A valid ID is required when collecting the audioguide.
