We will pass through the small Comacina island, the only island on the lake covered by lush woods and with a suggestive atmosphere. One of the main attractions of the Comacina Island is the Abbey of San Giovanni. This ancient abbey dates back to the 10th century and was rebuilt after a fire in 1169.

We will then continue towards Villa Cassinella, to subsequently reach Villa Carlotta and its incredible tropical gardens. Located in the picturesque town of Tremezzo this eighteenth-century villa is renowned for its magnificent botanical gardens, where there is a vast collection of rare plants and colourful flowers.

It offers a unique combination of natural beauty, fascinating architecture, lush gardens. If the weather permits, the village of Varenna will be a jewel to see while sailing on our boat.
