Embark on an unforgettable adventure with Buhos Tours to one of the hidden treasures of the Bolivian Altiplano: Ventanani. This tour combines pure nature, high-mountain Andean landscapes, and the magical presence of crystal-clear lagoons, surrounded by majestic snow-capped peaks such as Tuni Condoriri at an altitude of 5,700 metres.

We set off from our office in La Paz, taking an approximately two-hour transfer to reach the starting point of the hike at 4,300 metres above sea level. From here, we'll begin our ascent on foot along little-used trails, crossing the majestic landscapes of the Altiplano.

During the three-hour hike, you'll have the opportunity to marvel at the beautiful Laguna Juri Quta (4,500 m) and Laguna Eslovenia (4,700 m), mirror-like lakes surrounded by mountains and glaciers. Along the route, we'll be able to see the impressive Tuni-Condoriri massif, with peaks reaching up to 5,648 metres in altitude, an iconic image of the Bolivian Andes. We'll reach Lake Ventanani and the glacier at 5,050 metres.

The hike offers the chance to spot typical high-altitude wildlife, such as llamas, alpacas, and various species of high Andean birds, including the elegant Andean gull. All this set in an environment of unparalleled natural beauty.

At noon, we'll enjoy a delicious Andean box lunch by one of the lagoons, perfect for recharging our batteries surrounded by a serene and pristine landscape. Afterwards, we'll begin a leisurely descent to meet up with our vehicle and return to La Paz.
