10:30am Kinkaku-ji (≈60minutes)
Your first destination is the legendary Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion. This Zen temple is not only a stunning visual masterpiece, its top two floors sheathed in brilliant gold leaf, but also a site steeped in popular culture. It was originally the villa of Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, the historical figure who inspired the character of the shogun in the classic anime “Ikkyu-san” (Smart Ikkyu). Here, beauty and history converge, allowing you to walk in the footsteps of the animated legend's world.

The journey then deepens with ample free time in the Kiyomizu-dera temple area. For approximately three hours, immerse yourself in the heart of old Kyoto. Visit the iconic wooden temple perched on the hillside, wander the atmospheric Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka slopes, and explore the serene Ishibe-koji lane. To fully capture the moment, you have the opportunity to rent a traditional Japanese kimono(at your own expense) and stroll through these historic streets, transforming your visit into a living postcard of timeless Japan.

15:40 Fushimi Inari shrine (≈70minutes)
The spiritual climax of your tour awaits at Fushimi Inari shrine, one of Japan's most important Shinto shrines. Famous for its seemingly endless tunnels of thousands of vibrant red toriigates, this is a place of profound symbolism. Walking through these gates is considered a path to receiving blessings for business prosperity and good fortune. Participate in the local custom by inscribing your wishes on a unique fox-shaped votive tablet (ema), making your visit a personal pilgrimage for luck and success.
