I'll take you on a discovery of the ancient fishing village of Kukkolaforsen, a place full of history and traditions in the heart of the Tornio Valley, on the border between Sweden and Finland. Together, we will explore the typical wooden buildings overlooking the River Torne, where net fishing is still practised today, a practice that is part of the UNESCO cultural heritage. We will visit the small but fascinating fish museum, where I will tell you about the local culture, the tools used, and the daily life of the fishermen of the past. An authentic, guided and immersive experience, among nature, history and Lappish tradition.
The visit will take place in the village of Kukkolaforsen (Sweden).
