Mount Dikaios is a great trail for hiking in Kos. It is the highest mountain on the island with an altitude of 846 metres amd easily accessible to all travellers in the mood for some physical exercise.
Its starting point is in Zia, marked with dozens of signs pointing the way, it is one of the best shaped trails on Kos. As soon as you reach the top, you’ll see a magnificent cross and a small scenic chapel, dedicated to Christ. In fact, this hiking trail is part of a long-standing local tradition – on August 5th, typically dozens of faithfuls hike this trail and even stay overnight as a way of honouring the chapel’s celebration which is on the 6th of August.

The hike takes about an hour & 45 minutes on the trail and 15 minutes on a forest road per way.

You will meet with your tour leader on a pre-set meeting point in Zia Village and you will start your experience among a small group of travellers.
