Koblenz Cable Car - An unforgettable experience over a distance of 890 m!

Glide over the Rhine by cable car and experience unique views of a city with over 2,000 years of history at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle.

The cable car is 100% accessible and runs for you every minute from the valley station on Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer / near the Basilica of St. Kastor to the mountain station at the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress or vice versa. In season, our cable car operates daily from 10:00 AM until at least 7:00 PM.

Enjoy the spectacular cable car ride, stroll through the magnificent fortress park, where you can experience a viewing platform, a great children's playground, and an adventure golf course (possible with the cable car ticket).

In addition to the gondola ride, the combination ticket offers visitors a lively cultural centre with cultural and culinary delights. The historic Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and a breathtaking panoramic view await you (admission to the fortress is included in the combination ticket). You will find exciting museums and exhibitions in the historic buildings of the fortress. There are interesting things for every visitor to discover in the fortress's exhibition halls: the history of photography, interesting facts about the wine and travel region of Rhineland-Palatinate, or archaeology on the Middle Rhine and Moselle. In addition to the permanent exhibitions, there are always new temporary exhibitions dedicated to special topics. The museums and exhibitions of Ehrenbreitstein Fortress close at 6:00 PM.
