Try scuba diving as part of the SSI (Scuba Schools International) programme. This is an introduction to diving for those who have never dived before and want to try this sport in controlled conditions. This is a one-time activity that allows participants to experience what it is like to breathe underwater, use basic diving equipment, and feel like a real diver without having to complete a full certification course.
Meet your instructor and learn the basic safety rules, how diving equipment works, and a few key communication signs used underwater. Then, head to the water for your first breaths with a diving regulator and learn basic manoeuvres, such as equalising pressure in your ears or emptying your regulator.
Use basic diving equipment, including a mask, snorkel, fins, buoyancy control device (BCD), regulator, air tank, and wetsuit if needed. Enjoy the unique experience of being underwater.
