Get picked up from your hotel, the Kemi harbour, or the HaparandaTornio Resecentrum / Matkakeskus office. Receive basic information on the experience and safety instructions before departing for Old Pine Husky Lodge, Finland (about a 45-60 minute drive).

Visit the Husky Farm and get to know the dogs. Dive into pet therapy and learn how the dogs are bred and how the farm’s operations change across seasons. Discover different kinds of Arctic dogs, their habits, and lifestyle, as well as how they are trained and looked after.

Take a short walk across the husky farm to see a historical house (Pirtti) and a country chapel built upon an old granary. Learn about the place’s deep roots in what used to be a well-trafficked smuggling route.

Enjoy the lush nature that surrounds the farm, with nearly all Arctic tree species growing nearby. Have lunch at the farm’s restaurant (not included). After some free time, drive back to the departure point (approximately 45-60 minutes).
