What you can expect

Uncover the heart and soul of Kelowna on a guided e-bike tour. Discover the city’s most iconic landmarks, cultural treasures, and stunning natural beauty. Whether you’re visiting Kelowna for the first time or rediscovering your hometown, this tour offers a perfect blend of history, scenic views, and outdoor fun.

Meet your guide at the Lakeside Eco-Sports Welcome Centre, where you’ll get equipped with a premium e-bike, helmet, and all the gear you’ll need for a smooth and comfortable ride. After a quick orientation, set off on an unforgettable exploration of Kelowna’s vibrant streets, peaceful trails, and scenic lakefront.

Start with a leisurely ride to Gyro Beach, one of Kelowna’s most beloved waterfront spots. Feel the lake breeze and admire the sandy shores before heading onto the Mission Creek Greenway, a serene pathway surrounded by nature. This scenic trail offers a quiet escape from the city and sets the tone for the adventure ahead.

Next, stop at Father Pandosy’s Mission, the site of Kelowna’s first European settlement. Your guide will share fascinating stories about Father Pandosy, the Oblate missionary who played a pivotal role in the region’s early development. As you explore the restored buildings, get a glimpse of life in the Okanagan during the 19th century.

From here, ride towards the William R. Bennett Bridge, a marvel of engineering that connects Kelowna to West Kelowna. Pause to take in the panoramic views of Okanagan Lake, with its sparkling waters framed by lush hills and distant mountains.

Continue along Kelowna’s stunning waterfront, with a stop at the iconic Kelowna Sails sculpture. This landmark, symbolising the city’s connection to the lake, is a great spot for photos. From there, explore the peaceful trails of Rotary Marsh Park, a protected wetland teeming with wildlife.

One of the highlights of the tour is the ride up to the Knox Mountain Drive Lookout, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the city, lake, and surrounding valley. It’s the perfect spot to catch your breath, snap some photos, and appreciate the natural beauty of the Okanagan.

As you make your way back city centre, visit two more cultural highlights. The Laurel Packing House, Kelowna’s oldest heritage building, offers a glimpse into the city’s agricultural past. Nearby, the tranquil Kasugai Gardens invites you to enjoy a peaceful moment surrounded by traditional Japanese design.
