Overview

This is more than a drive along the Georgian Military Highway — it’s a thoughtfully crafted journey designed for comfort, flexibility, and authentic experiences. We combine professional planning with a personal touch, ensuring every traveller feels welcomed and fully supported.
Unlike large bus tours, we focus on small groups and personalised attention, giving you plenty of time at each stop for photos, exploration, and questions. Along the way, we share local stories, cultural insights, and insider knowledge, so guests can truly understand Georgia — not just see it.
The tour features comfortable transport, optional jeep access to Gergeti Trinity Church, and carefully chosen scenic stops, creating a perfect balance of breathtaking landscapes, history, and authentic local atmosphere.
The goal is simple: not just to show you Georgia, but to help you experience it fully, personally, and memorably.

Pasanauri
  • 10m
At the scenic viewpoint of the Aragvi River Confluence, travellers will witness one of nature’s most fascinating sights — the meeting of the Black and White Aragvi Rivers. What makes this spot truly unique is the visible contrast in water colours: the darker and lighter streams flow side by side before gradually blending into one river. Surrounded by mountain landscapes and fresh Caucasus air, this stop offers a peaceful moment to take in the scenery and capture stunning photos of this natural phenomenon. I’ll share the local legends connected to the two rivers, as well as insights about the geography and history of the region. Guests will have time to enjoy the viewpoint, explore the area safely, and take memorable photos before we continue our journey along the Georgian Military Highway. It’s a short but impressive stop that highlights the raw beauty of Georgia’s nature.
Gudauri Viewpoint
  • 40m
At the panoramic Gudauri Viewpoint, travellers will enjoy breathtaking views over the dramatic Caucasus Mountains. This iconic viewpoint, also known for its large colourful mosaic monument, overlooks deep valleys, rugged peaks, and winding mountain roads along the Georgian Military Highway. Guests will have time to walk around the monument, admire the vibrant Soviet-era murals depicting scenes of friendship and history, and take unforgettable photos from the cliffside viewpoint. On clear days, the scenery stretches endlessly across the mountain landscape, offering some of the most spectacular vistas in the region. During the stop, I’ll share insights about Gudauri as a popular mountain resort and explain the historical significance of the monument. This is the perfect place to pause, breathe in the fresh alpine air, and capture some of the most iconic views of your journey through Georgia.
Mineral Springs
  • 15m
At the natural Gudauri Mineral Springs along the Georgian Military Highway, travellers will discover a unique mineral spring flowing directly from the mountainside. Bright orange mineral deposits cascade down the rocky slope, creating a striking natural formation shaped by iron-rich waters over time. Guests will have the opportunity to taste the naturally carbonated mineral water straight from the source, known for its distinctive flavour and refreshing qualities. The stop also offers beautiful views of the surrounding Caucasus landscapes, making it a great place for photos and a short scenic walk. During our visit, I’ll explain the geological origins of the spring and why mineral waters play an important role in Georgian culture. This is a refreshing and unusual stop that adds a special local touch to the journey along the Georgian Military Highway.
Stepantsminda
  • 1h
In Stepantsminda (also known as Kazbegi), travellers will visit a charming mountain town nestled in the heart of the Greater Caucasus. Surrounded by dramatic peaks and alpine valleys, this picturesque destination serves as the gateway to some of Georgia’s most breathtaking natural landmarks. From Stepantsminda, travellers have the optional opportunity to reach Gergeti Trinity Church by 4x4 jeep. This service is operated by local drivers and requires an additional payment 20 Lari per person directly to the jeep driver. The guide will assist with organising the trip for those who wish to go, while guests who prefer can remain in town and enjoy free time. Whether exploring further into the mountains or relaxing in the village, this stop offers flexibility and unforgettable Caucasus views.
Gergeti Trinity Church
  • 1h
At Gergeti Trinity Church, travellers will visit one of Georgia’s most iconic mountain landmarks, dramatically located at 2,170 metres above sea level beneath the majestic Mount Kazbek. The 14th-century church stands against a breathtaking backdrop of the Greater Caucasus, offering some of the most spectacular views in the country. Reaching the church requires an off-road drive by local 4x4 jeep from Stepantsminda. This transfer is optional and costs 20 GEL per person (cash, paid directly to the jeep driver). The guide will assist in organising the jeep for those who wish to go. At the top, guests can explore the historic stone church, enjoy panoramic mountain views, take unforgettable photos, and experience the peaceful atmosphere of this sacred site. I will share the history of the monastery and its cultural and spiritual importance in Georgia. This stop is a true highlight of the journey — combining dramatic landscapes, history, and authentic mountain atmosphere.
