Embark on a 17-day trek through the Langtang Valley to the sacred Gosaikunda Lakes. Follow river valleys deep into dense forests inhabited by Tamang and Sherpa communities. Encounter Buddhist chortens, mani walls, and fluttering prayer flags along the way.
Begin your journey with a drive to Syabrubesi, then trek through bamboo forests to Lama Hotel. Continue to Langtang Village, visiting a gompa along the way. Acclimatise with an optional hike to Kyanjin Gompa, then trek to Kyanjin Ri viewpoint for breathtaking views.
Cross the Lauribina La pass and descend to the Gosaikunda area. Rest at Gosaikunda and hike around the holy lake, a Hindu pilgrimage site said to be the abode of Lord Shiva. Trek to Tharepati and Chisapani, crossing high ridges and descending through subtropical forests in Shivapuri National Park.
Experience traditional Tamang village life and Buddhist shrines along the trail. Enjoy warm Tamang hospitality and spectacular mountain panoramas, including views of peaks like Langtang Lirung, Gaurishankar, and Dorje Lakpa.
