What you can expect
Everest View Trek – 5 Days from Kathmandu, See Everest in Days, Not Weeks
Most people rule out Everest because they assume it means two weeks of trekking and a shot at Base Camp or nothing. It doesn't. Five days, one flight into Lukla, a walk through Sherpa villages to Namche Bazaar, and a morning at 3,880m where Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam sit right in front of you, close enough to feel their scale. Then you fly home.
Here's what that five days actually buys you. Flights both ways already booked. A guide who grew up in these mountains, not one reading from a script. Every meal, every teahouse bed, every permit sorted before you land. Nothing to arrange once you're on the ground, nothing left to chance halfway up a mountain in a country you've never visited before. You show up, and the trip already works.
Most people who get this close to Everest never get another chance at it. Work, family, the years pass, and Nepal stops being something you're planning and starts being something you meant to do. Five days is a small trade for a view most people end up talking about for the rest of their life.
This trek has worked for people in their 20s and for trekkers well into their 60s and 70s. A full acclimatisation day is built into the schedule, every night is a real bed, and our Kathmandu team is involved from before you even land, arranging everything so the only thing left for you to do is walk.
Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding (2,610m). Gentle downhill walk along the Dudh Koshi River, past Sherpa villages and suspension bridges. Walking: 3–4 hrs.
Day 2 — Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m). Cross the Hillary Bridge, enter Sagarmatha National Park, climb steadily into the region's main trading hub. Walking: 5–6 hrs.
Day 3 — Everest View Hike (3,880m), return to Namche. The highlight of the trek — Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and the surrounding peaks in full view. Afternoon free to explore Namche's cafes and viewpoints. Walking: 3–4 hrs.
Day 4 — Trek back to Lukla (2,860m). Descend the same scenic trail, faster and easier on the way down. Walking: 6–7 hrs.
Day 5 — Fly back to Kathmandu. Final aerial views of the Himalayas on the way home.
