The journey begins at the Togariishi Museum of Jomon Archaeology, where visitors can delve into a rich collection of Jomon-era artefacts, such as detailed pottery, tools, and human remains, shedding light on the daily lives and cultural practices of the early Jomon people. In the afternoon, the tour continues to the Hoshigato Obsidian Mine, Japan’s only known obsidian mining site from the Jomon period.
