What you can expect

Begin your adventure with pickup from your hotel in Jinja. Head to the shores of Lake the Victoria and board your boat. Set and begin your cruise.

Sail past the Mahatma Gandhi monument and the the John Speke monument, who is believed to have discovered the source of the Nile.

Continue to the point where the Nile begins, where the water is seen to come configs up from the rocks and then join the Victoria Nile. This is known as the source and the starting point of the Nile.

Enjoy the sights of the river at this unique location, and keep an eye out for birds such as the African Eagle, kingfisher, monitor lizards, otters, and sometimes even some owls.

At the to end of your cruise, return to the shore and be dropped off back to Adrift River club for your onward journey.
