What you can expect

Meet your professional hiking and historian tour guide at 7:30am in your hotel lobby in Beijing city centre. Driving about 2 hours to Jiankou section. Challenge the most precipitous Jiankou section of the Great Wall, wild, weathered and primitive.

It takes about 5 hoursto complete a distance of 10 km (6 miles) from Jiankou section to Mutianyu section. This is the most classic hiking route on the Great Wall.

Mutianyu section of the Great Wall regarded the most beautiful scenery of all the sections. It is restored and tourist-friendly. Hiking the whole route is like travelling through time from primitive to modern, presenting three phases of the Great Wall with striking contrast from wild, half-repaired to totally repaired.

After you finish this great hiking, enjoy a nice local lunch at a Chinese restaurant.

Afterwards, transfer back to your hotel.
