Explore the Isles of Scilly through Land-based fishing experiences designed for beginners, families and experienced anglers alike.
Whether you’re hoping to catch your very first fish, spend quality time fishing with your children, or target species with specialist techniques, every session is tailored to the conditions, season and your experience level.
Family and beginner sessions focus on learning in a calm, safe and enjoyable environment. We’ll cover the basics steadily and confidently from simple casting and tackle setup through to catching and handling fish responsibly. Parents and carers are encouraged to join in, making sessions a shared experience rather than simply dropping children off for an activity.
For experienced anglers, guided sessions offer the chance to make the most of the Isles of Scilly’s unique coastline and fishing opportunities. Depending on conditions and targets, sessions may involve ultralight LRF tactics, lure fishing for pollack and wrasse, species hunting, or seasonal opportunities using proven local approaches and techniques.
All sessions are shore-based and shaped around local knowledge, weather, tides and fish welfare. The aim is not simply to catch fish, but to help people enjoy angling confidently and leave with skills and memories they can take away and use long after the session ends.
As with most salt-water fishing, you will also be allowed to keep your catch.
