What you can expect

Your journey kicks off at our tour centre in central Oslo, where you will meet your local guide. After a quick briefing, we’ll hop aboard an electric tram—“trikk,” as the locals call it— and glide through the vibrant city streets to Aker Brygge, Oslo’s buzzing waterfront district. With its trendy restaurants, stylish shops, and breath-taking views of the Oslo Fjord, it’s the perfect launch point for our adventure!

After just 15 minutes on an electric ferry, we’ll reach Gressholmen, an island nature reserve, famous for its beautiful scenery. Wander through the island paradise while your guide tells you about Norwegian culture and nature, all while soaking in stunning fjord views. And if you’re feeling adventurous, take a refreshing dip at one of Gressholmen’s tranquil beaches—just don’t forget your swimming costume!

Next, we’ll ferry over to explore Nakholmen, a charming island known for its picturesque coastal cottages—a beloved weekend retreat for Oslo locals. As we cruise past several other islands, you’ll get a glimpse of authentic Norwegian island life, where colourful cabins line the shores and locals embrace the slow, scenic pace of the fjord.

After soaking up Nakholmen’s charm, we’ll board our ferry back to Aker Brygge, giving you one last chance to marvel at the beauty of the Oslo Fjord. Back on land, you can choose to stay to explore the vibrant waterfront district, or wrap up this adventure with a smooth tram ride back to the city centre with your guide. You can also choose to continue your adventure by hopping on the express ferry to Hovedøya, an island only 8 minutes from Oslo where history and nature collide. Just ask your guide for easy directions!

This is the ultimate way to experience Oslo’s island paradise, rich history, and stunning nature, all in one incredible trip. Pack your swimming costume, grab your camera, and get ready for an experience you’ll be talking about long after you leave Norway!
