The Ballenberg Open-Air Museum in the Bernese Oberland offers a unique opportunity to experience and understand the Swiss way of life, which often evokes bygone eras. On the 66-hectare site, visitors can explore various Swiss buildings, gain insights into country life, interact with local farm animals, and even visit a petting zoo. There are a variety of dining options on the museum grounds, from restaurants serving regional dishes to picnic areas where you can enjoy your own food or freshly baked bread from the museum's wood-fired oven.
