What you can expect

Let's meet at our home's yard. Upon arrival, you get snowshoes and walking poles before starting the slow-pace snowshoe walk into the old forest.

Enjoy the silence and tranquility among ancient trees. You also observe possible animal tracks on the snow and nearby feeding birds. Siberian Jay and Siberian Tit (= Grey-headed Chickadee) are commonly around. By early March, the first Pine Grosbeaks return. In addition, you walk on a small forest lake.

Finally, you enjoy an open-fire hot drink and local snacks while watching nearby feeding birds and squirrels.
