Get to Bibbona, which is a short distance from the sea and Bolgheri. Once you meet the Archaeologist guide, you will drive a very short distance in your car, following the guide's car. Once parked near the forest, you will begin the walk along an ancient path that crosses a stretch of pristine forest characterised by tall trees and a very small stream that has carved out the rock over the centuries. You will arrive at an ancient Etruscan necropolis, a mysterious place immersed and lost in the woods, one of the most enigmatic places in Tuscany, which has been the subject of years of interest and study by archaeologists who have provided a dating and an approximate interpretation. The Archaeologist will briefly explain the fascinating history of the Etruscans and give you a personal interpretation of the mysterious place. You will have free time to explore all the caves and take photos, and for those who love adventure, you will be accompanied to other nearby caves that are more difficult to reach at the edge of the stream (there is no path… you will walk through the woods accompanied by the guide). The experience ends when you return to your cars. No particular difficulty. Please bring sun cream, comfortable shoes, and possibly long pants. Trainers are fine, no need for trekking or technical clothing… NO FLIP-FLOPS OR SWIMWEAR!
