ITINERARY:
We'll depart from the city of Huaraz through the south of the Callejón de Huailas, passing through the villages of Recuay, Ticapampa, and Catac. We'll visit the Querococha Lagoon, from where we can see the geological fault on the map of Peru. Then we'll pass through the Cahuish Tunnel, which is located 4,550 metres above sea level, and descend through the Conchucos Valley until we reach the village of Chavín.
The visit to the archaeological complex of Chavín de Huántar lasts approximately 10 hours, and then we'll also visit the National Museum of Chavín, where the most important remains found in the Temple are exhibited.
