What you can expect

  • Meet your local guide for a one-day Huizhou tour. First, visit Hongcun Ancient Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed as ‘the village in Chinese painting’, featuring classic Huizhou architecture with white walls and black tiles, Moon Pond, and South Lake. Then proceed to Mukeng Bamboo Sea, the filming location of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and wander along peaceful trails amid endless green bamboo. In the afternoon, return to Tunxi and explore Tunxi Old Street, a well-preserved ancient commercial pedestrian street with Hui-style handicrafts, local snacks, and red lanterns. After the tour, return to your hotel in Tunxi, Huangshan.
