Start your tour with an early morning pick up at 8:00am from your Beijing hotel. Travelling by private vehicle and head to the first attraction: Tian'anmen Square, the largest city-center square in the world. You will see the Monument of People's Heroes, the National Museum of China, the Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao and etc. Wander around the square with your guide, then passing through the south gate to the Forbidden City, a palace compex in central Beijing, China. The former Chinese imperial palace from Ming dynasry to the end of the Qing dynasty (1420-1912). It now houses the Palace Museum.It is the largest and best-preserved Imperial Palace in the world.

Then, driving about 1.5 hours to Huanghuacheng Great Wall. After enjoy a nice local lunch on the way, start your 2-3 hours hiking at Huanghuacheng Water Wall, the only lakeside Great Wall in Beijing. It is one of the top destinations for a Great Wall hiking tour. Huanghuacheng section is an uncrowded section. You can experience different activities like taking a boat on the lake to appreciate the Great Wall on the surrounding mountains (own expense). You can hike around the lake and across the dam instead of climbing the mountains.
