Know before you book

    • To use and validate your ticket, you must download the 'Buenos Aires City Bus' app to your mobile device, available on Google Play and the App Store. Once downloaded, enter your reservation number to obtain the corresponding QR codes (one per person). These QR codes must be presented when boarding
    • We recommend downloading the app in advance and connecting to a Wi-Fi network to pre-download the audio guide and map. This way, you can use its main features during your tour of the city, even without an internet connection.
    • From the app, you can also check the real-time location of the buses, access information on all stops, and listen to the audio guide, available directly in the app. Remember to bring your own headphones, as the audio guide will play from your mobile device through the app.
    • Operates Monday to Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The bus begins running at 9:20 am from stop 0 (Av. Roque Saenz Peña 728) and stop 12 (Av. Santa Fe 808). Buses run approximately every 30 minutes. The last buses of the day depart at 5:30 pm.
    • The walking tour is a free, optional activity that operates on a voluntary payment system for the guide. To confirm tour times, please consult with the guide on board the bus. Tours are subject to weather and operational conditions. In the event of cancellation, no refund will be issued.
    • For the Navigation tour, you must arrive 20 minutes before your chosen departure time.

What you can expect

  • Discover Buenos Aires at your own pace aboard the Hop-On Hop-Off Tourist Bus, a comfortable, convenient, and flexible way to explore the city's main attractions. With your ticket, you can hop on and off freely at any of the stops along the route, organising your visit according to your own schedule and interests.

    To enhance your experience, you'll have access to the Buenos Aires City Bus App, which lets you carry all the route information directly on your smartphone. From the app, you can access your entry QR code, view the map and stop information, track the buses' location in real time, and enjoy an informative GPS audio guide available in 11 languages. Remember to bring your own headphones.

    The app also features an offline mode, so you can download the audio guide and map in advance, save your tickets with QR codes, and access them even without an internet connection.

    In addition, your Tourist Bus ticket includes the opportunity to participate in free Walking Tours with expert guides. These tours depart from designated stops along the circuit and offer an excellent opportunity to discover some of Buenos Aires' most iconic areas and landmarks on foot, guided by a local expert.

    • La Boca and Caminito
    • Puerto Madero

    From stop 6 you can connect with the “Postales de Buenos Aires” navigation, and thus obtain the best views of the city sailing along the Río de la Plata from La Boca to Puerto Madero.

    You will enjoy the combination of green spaces such as the Ecological Reserve and also the skyscrapers and different emblematic buildings that the city presents.

    The journey is approximately 40 minutes. As we move away from La Boca, we will obtain different panoramic views both to the east and to the west and we will see the combination of architectural styles of the city, with the port activity and the green lungs. It is an ideal activity to do during or after Hop On Hop Off.
