Every year, Honolulu Hale (Honolulu’s city hall, pronounced Honolulu Hah-leh) in City centre Honolulu puts on a month long Christmas lights and decorations display. Highlights include the large outdoor tree, Shaka Santa and Tutu Mele, the indoor tree display and the corridor of wreaths. This year we celebrate Honolulu City Lights 40th anniversary.

Experience an enchanting journey to the captivating Honolulu City Lights, where you can disembark and fully immerse yourself in the holiday spirit, all in one seamless return adventure. Many of our guests come back year after year, making the Waikiki Trolley Holiday Lights Tour one of the best holiday traditions Oahu has to offer.

The Holiday Lights Tour will take you through historic city centre before dropping you off at the Honolulu City Lights at Honolulu Hale. Guests are able to explore the festive holiday lights, marvel at this year's 55-foot Cook pine tree., Shaka Santa, Tutu Mele (Mrs. Claus) and more.

The whole experience is approximately 1 hour and 55 min. Approx. 30 min joyful ride to the Honolulu Hale, roughly 1 hour of fun exploring the Hale, and a joyful 25 min ride returning to the Waikiki Trolley Winter Wonderland. This year's your tour begins and ends at Waikiki Trolley’s Wonderland at 198 Aloha Tower Drive in Honolulu.

Admission includes entry to the Winter Wonderland for FREE cocoa, activities, crafts and photos with Santa Claus and his Grumpy Green Friend!
