    Introduction: As Hokkaido’s most popular zoo, Asahiyama Zoo is famous for its unique animal enclosures and cute wildlife. You can watch polar bears, penguins, red pandas and other animals in their naturalistic habitats. It’s a perfect spot for both adults and children to get close to nature.
    Duration: Approximately 120 minutes.

  2. Tree of Ken and Mary
    Introduction: Enjoy a scenic drive (stay on board, no disembarkation) past the famous Tree of Ken and Mary, one of Biei’s iconic photo spots. The tree stands tall in the rural landscape, paired with distant mountains and farmland, creating a picturesque Hokkaido scene. You can take photos from the vehicle and enjoy the tranquil rural atmosphere.
    Duration: Approximately 10 minutes.

  3. Shirahige Waterfall
    Introduction: Groundwater pours down from the rock walls, and the water flow scatters like white beards. The waterfall flows into a blue river, forming a strong contrast with the surrounding forests, with static and dynamic layers, which is very visually striking.

  4. Shirogane Blue Pond
    Introduction: The water of Shirogane Blue Pond presents a light blue-green hue due to mineral effects. Withered trees stand in the water, reflecting the sky and mountain shadows, giving a calm and mysterious feeling. The walking path is flat, suitable for walking and appreciating quietly.
    Duration: Approximately 20 minutes.

  5. Ningle Terrace
    Introduction: Nestled in the forest, the Ningle Terrace features charming wooden houses and unique handicraft shops. Surrounded by lush greenery, it’s a peaceful spot to relax, browse souvenirs, and take photos with the fairy-tale-like scenery.
