Day 1: Saigon Arrival and Motorbike Food Tour
Spend some free time exploring the city at your own pace. Enjoy a complimentary foot massage at any time during your stay.
In the evening, embark on a motorbike food tour. Meet your guide at the Saigon Opera House and set off on a culinary adventure.
Stop at the Thich Quang Duc Monument, a significant historical landmark. Then, savour a variety of local dishes, including bánh xèo (savoury pancakes), grilled banana with coconut milk, bánh mì (Vietnamese baguette), and more.
Visit the Nguyen Thien Thuat Oldest Apartments Area, built in 1968 by the US government for soldiers. Continue to the Ho Thi Ky Wholesale Flower Market and try crispy banana crackers, grilled oysters, and Saigon pizza.
End your food tour with a bowl of Hue-style beef noodle soup and a dessert of flan cake or ice cream in District 4.
Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnels
After breakfast, depart for the Cu Chi Tunnels. Explore this famous underground system built by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam-American war in the 1970s. Walk through the tunnels, discover hidden corners, and imagine what life was like for the resistance soldiers. You can even try your hand at shooting an AK-47, one of the guns used during the war (at your own expense).
Enjoy free time for the rest of the evening.
Day 3: Mekong Delta (My Tho – Ben Tre)
After breakfast, head to My Tho wharf and board a motorboat on the Tien River. Pass by floating fish farm villages, the Rach Mieu bridge, and four islands: Long, Lan, Qui, and Phung.
Stop by Con Lan (Unicorn Island) to visit a local honeybee farm and taste unique honey tea. Then, take an electric cart to a fruit garden to try fresh tropical fruits and listen to traditional Southern music.
Next, experience the taste of the Mekong Delta as you sit on a rowing boat, weaving into the small canal, watching rows of water coconuts, and the simple landscape of the Mekong Delta.
Return to the big boat and head to Ben Tre, known as the “Vietnamese coconut island,” to visit a coconut sweets oven. Enjoy a lunch of typical Mekong Delta dishes at a local restaurant. After lunch, rest or bike around the village (optional).
On the way back, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, known as “the largest temple in Tien Giang.”
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast, check out and end the tour.
