Explore Hiroshima’s history and culture with a local guide. We will start our tour at Hiroshima Gokoku Shrine, where you will learn about its spiritual importance and connection to the city’s past. Then, explore Hiroshima Castle, where you can see samurai life, swords, helmets, and discover Hiroshima’s history as a castle town.
After that, we will move towards Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and explore the main monument, the Cenotaph for the A-bomb Victims, while learning about World War II and the message behind the memorial. We will also visit the Atomic Bomb Dome, the hypocenter, and the remaining atomic bomb buildings to understand daily life at that time and the power of the bomb.
At the end of the tour, we will visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Please note that the guide will not accompany you inside certain parts of the museum, as talking is prohibited in some areas.
By the end, you will have a deeper understanding of Hiroshima’s history, recovery, and message of peace.
