What you can expect
EXPERIENCE SEOUL LIKE A LOCAL, NOT A TOURIST
Seoul is best understood on foot.
This isn’t a typical city tour. It’s a thoughtfully curated walk through the Seoul I truly love. the hidden views, quiet alleys, and local flavours most visitors never discover.
Born and raised here, I walk over 20,000 steps a day exploring my city. My foreign friends call this “Min’s Trusted Tour” because I only share places I personally return to no souvenir traps, no scripted stops. Just real Seoul.
THE JOURNEY: 5 SIDES OF AUTHENTIC SEOUL
1) Bugaksan Mountain: Nature Meets History
We begin near Hyehwa and hike Bugaksan (340m), a peaceful trail hidden behind Gyeongbokgung Palace.
It’s an easy walk along the old fortress wall, with panoramic views of royal palaces, Namsan Tower, and the city skyline. At the summit, you’ll understand why Seoul is called a city embraced by mountains.
We’ll pause for simple Korean snacks(kimbap, rice cakes, fresh fruit) while enjoying views most tourists never see.
2) Bukchon Hanok Village: Beyond the Crowds
In Bukchon Hanok Village, we skip the busy photo spots and explore the quieter side streets.
We’ll visit a hidden tea house and a small museum or workshop for a deeper, more personal look at Korean tradition.
3) Samcheongdong : Old Soul, Creative Energy
A gentle walk through Samcheong-dong, where hanoks, galleries, and boutiques blend classic Seoul with modern creativity. This is “slow Seoul” calm, charming, and full of character.
4) Seosunra-gil : A Local Secret
Tucked between Anguk and Jongno, Seosulla-gil is a quiet lane loved by locals.
Independent cafés, small art spaces, and peaceful stone walls show a softer, trendier side of the city.
5) Gwangjang Market: Eat Like a True Local
We finish at Gwangjang Market, old traditional market.
Instead of crowded tourist stalls, I’ll guide you to trusted vendors I personally know.
Your feast may include:
• Bibimbap, kalguksu, or dumpling soup
• Nokdu bindaetteok(mungbean pancakes)
• Freshly made hotteok
